7/10/2023 Pictures don't change, people do."The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do." Andy Warhol These photos are of my maternal Oma (Grandma in Dutch) and her twin sister, Tante (Aunt) Angele. They were born in Holland in 1898. When my mom and her family moved from Amsterdam to NYC in 1939, my grandmother had to change her name, Flora, to an American name, Florence. The photo on the right was taken at Flora and Angele's 80th birthday celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana where Oma lived to 99 years old.

The family was visiting my great-great-grandmother in Germany. My great uncle, Samuel (far right) and my Nana's best friend, died less than a year later.

8/1/2022 How many Digital photos do you have? When I tell people I'm a Photo Organizer, this is our typical conversation: Photo Phoebe: How long will it take to organize my digital photos? Me: How many photos do you have? Photo Phoebe: No idea, but I keep getting an error message that my storage is almost full. Me: Where are your digital photos located? Photo Phoebe: My phone...maybe my computer...possibly somewhere in the Cloud, Instagram, Shutterfly…I’m not sure!?! Me: We need to determine how many digital photos you have and where they are located. Photo Phoebe: How do I figure that out? Me: I walk them through the below info. We'll start with the photos you have in the Cloud: Apple Photo Library, Google Photos, and Amazon Photos. Then, we'll address individual devices that are not synced to your photo cloud storage. In your Apple Photo Library 1.Go to https://www.icloud.com/photos 2.Sign in, if necessary. 3.In Library, scroll down to the bottom of the page. In Google Photos 1.Go to https://myaccount.google.com/dashboard 2.Sign in, if necessary. 3.Scroll down Recently used Google services to Photos. In Amazon Photos 1.Go to https://amazon.com/photos 2.Sign in, if necessary. 3.Click on Storage > Manage Storage. What if my devices aren't synced to the cloud? On a PC
