Photos, Photos Everywhere
As a photo organizer, I view 1000s of photos, both print and digital, and the common thread tends to be too many insignificant photos that distract from the gems. Keepsake photographs tell a story of lasting memories. Snapshots are taken as a reminder of the moment. Some of these snaps may become keepsake photos, but the large majority will never be viewed. Are you ready to bring your photos into your life?
Do you have decades of print photos to sort, but don't have the time or emotional strength to tackle this project?
Are you downsizing and don't know which photos to keep or "let go"?
Are you worried generations of family photos are deteriorating in old shoeboxes and falling-apart albums?
You’re not alone! Your photographs are your life’s treasures; they are irreplaceable.

I need help with my photos!
When I tell people I'm a Photo Organizer, quite often they say, “You do what?!?” To thoroughly define what a Photo Organizer does is quite lengthy, and there isn’t a “one size fits all” for our business description or services provided. Some of us are photographers, genealogists, photo editors, archivists, professional organizers, and computer techs. We may specialize in print, slide, digital, or video organizing; photo album or wall art design; digital asset management and back-up systems; or a number of other areas. What we all have in common, though, is a desire to help you preserve your photographs for generations to come.
Why do people hire a Photo Organizer?
Why do people hire a Photo Organizer?
- They’re downsizing and want to scan all of their photos
- Their best friend had a flood and lost all her snapshots, and they don’t want this to happen to them.
- Their daughter is going to college and they want to give her a family keepsake.
- Their professional photographer gave them 2000 photos and told them to pick 200 for their wedding album.
- They know they "should" organize their pictures, but they don't have the time or know-how.
About Susan
I had my first paid organizing job, sorting photo albums by size then color, at age 6. I worked in my father’s camera store in Louisiana and got paid in Coca-Cola’s. Although my dad taught me the technical side of photography, I found f-stops, shutter speed, and ISO boring. I was more interested in the photo’s story and began documenting my experiences in albums, scrapbooks, and yearbooks.
My interest in photo organizing and editing grew when I bought my first digital camera in 1999. I enjoyed shooting photos of everything, all the time; and the real excitement came when I downloaded my photos and began the editing process. I created lasting photo memories by digitally editing my best pictures and discarding the rest.
As my photo collection expanded, I developed a system to manage the volume before it became overwhelming. Through hours of research and testing, I learned there are many ways to organize and preserve photos. Wanting to share my knowledge and bring pictures back into people's lives, I started a Photo Organizing business.
